Right!
We made it home safe and sound. I checked a bunch of things off the list: gear in house, car clean, road laundry, shower… Now I’m heading to a potluck, good old weekly potluck, with my friends in Menomonie. So grand!
THANKS are so due:
Thank you so much to all of you who came out to see us in the last year. We are so thanksgivingful to have had the opportunity to play in so many places for so many wonderful people throughout the year. Thank you for buying our record! We are so close to paying back our fine label Amble Down Records for the investment they made earlier this year. Perhaps they might even make a buck on us one day. So thankful to them for their hard work. Thanks to all of those floor/couch owners out there who let us take up space for the night. You’re tops! Thanks to our families for supporting us so graciously and digging the music.
THANKFULNESS is so in order:
I believe I’ve neglected to say in this blog that we will have a release of our album in France next year on a young label with lots of spunk called Almost Musique. So amazing! So one day I may write you an email from a cafe in France with people saying lots of things I won’t understand. I’m thankful for that.
A stamp of FINALITY:
So our last show on the year will be back home:
Dec 10 | 8pm | all ages | $0
UW - Stout (the Undergroud) - Menomonie, WI
w/ Peter Wolf Crier and The New Audrey
Facebook invite (invite your friends?)
We are so, so happy to play our last show of the year in the place we love for the people we also love. Hope to see you!
Love,
jason.
